Norwood Flames has finally registered their first victory this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Noarlunga City Southern Tigers (1-3) 82-73 on Monday. Norwood Flames dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Noarlunga City Southern Tigers' 30. Forward Raymond Harding (198, college: Southeast CC) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Matthew Lycett (194-1990) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Machar Machar produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Vionte Daniels added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Four Norwood Flames and five Noarlunga City Southern Tigers players scored in double figures. Norwood Flames (1-2) left bottom position moving up to eighth place in League. Loser Noarlunga City Southern Tigers dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Norwood Flames will meet at home higher ranked West Adelaide Bearcats (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Noarlunga City Southern Tigers will play against Sturt Sabres (#6) and hope to win that game.
