There was no surprise in Booval where bottom-ranked Ipswich Force (0-4) was edged by leader Brisbane Capitals (2-0) 82-80 on Friday. Brisbane Capitals forced 19 Ipswich Force turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Nicholas Stoddart (-2000) fired 28 points for the winners. Center Ben Volkman (206, college: Maryville, MO) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. American-DR Congolese forward Henry Pwono (198-1991, college: ECU) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Isaac White (188-1998, college: CBU) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Ipswich Force players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brisbane Capitals keep a position of League leader.
