There was a minor upset in Heathmont where 6th ranked Spectres (3-1) were edged by eighth ranked Ringwood Hawks (3-1) 79-77 on Saturday. American guard Tim Guers (190-1996, college: St.Anselm) fired 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Robert Heath chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Ringwood Hawks' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American center Dain Swetalla (206-1986, college: Augustana, IL) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and guard Kingsley Box (196, college: SUU) added 23 points respectively for lost side. Ringwood Hawks moved-up to fourth place in League. Ringwood Hawks will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Spectres will play against Tigers (#11) in Melbourne and hope to secure a win.
