Regular Season Round 14: Frankston B. - Sandringham S. 93-68

Everything went according to plan in Seaford where seventh ranked Frankston Blues (3-1) outleveled 17th ranked Sabres (1-4) 93-68 on Sunday. Guard Lachlan Barker (188-1996) scored 37 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Dan Trist (206-1992, college: Lafayette) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Tohiraukura Smith-milner responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and the former international power forward David Okwera (213-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Frankston Blues moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Sabres keep the seventeenth position with four games lost. Frankston Blues will meet at home Waverley Falcons (#8) in the next round. Sabres will play against Bendigo Braves (#19) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
