This time Hawks used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Northbridge 111-83 on Saturday night. Hawks outrebounded Redbacks 46-28 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Naturalized British swingman Adam Thoseby (197-1991, college: GSW) notched 30 points to lead the effort and center Andrew Ferguson (213-1998, college: CS Monterey) supported him with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Thoseby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hawks players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by forward Isaac Gattorna-Hargrave (201-1999) did not help to save the game for Redbacks. Power forward Louis Timms (206-1991, college: WBU) added 24 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hawks (5-3) moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Redbacks dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
