We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Knox Raiders (4-3) rolled over 10th ranked Kilsyth Cobras (5-3) in Wantirna South 98-72 on Saturday. Knox Raiders shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kilsyth Cobras' players. American point guard Alex Robinson (185-1995, college: TCU) notched 13 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and forward Mason Peatling (203-1997, college: EWU) supported him with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Knox Raiders players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by naturalized South Sudanese forward Deng Deng (203-1992, college: Baylor) did not help to save the game for Kilsyth Cobras. Adrian Tomada added 21 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Knox Raiders moved-up to tenth place in League. Loser Kilsyth Cobras dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Knox Raiders will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kilsyth Cobras will play against Dandenong Rangers (#14) and hope to secure a win.
