There was a minor upset when 3rd ranked South West Metro Pirates (3-2) lost to top-ranked Rollers (3-0) in Runcorn 84-96 on Saturday. Rollers forced 20 South West Metro Pirates turnovers. American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-1991, college: Pittsburgh) notched 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and guard Jaryd Eustace (201-1994, college: Miami, OH) supported him with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five Rollers players scored in double figures. Even 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Brendan Teys (188-1990) did not help to save the game for South West Metro Pirates. American guard Taylor Young (190-1990, college: WPU) added 12 points and 7 rebounds. South West Metro Pirates' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Rollers moved-up to second place in League. Loser South West Metro Pirates dropped to the sixth position with two games lost.
