The most surprising game was the first loss of North Adelaide Rockets (5-1) in Marden on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by sixth ranked Norwood Flames (4-3) 103-74. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Anthony Green (208-1996, college: Northeastern) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Matthew Lycett (194-1990) contributed with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Norwood Flames players scored in double figures. American swingman Terry Winn III (201-1995, college: UTRGV) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and American-Nigerian forward Jamar Akoh (201-1996, college: Montana, agency: Inception Sports) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for North Adelaide Rockets. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Norwood Flames maintains sixth place in League with 4-3 record. North Adelaide Rockets at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. Norwood Flames are looking forward to face higher ranked Forestville Eagles (#5) in Goodwood in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. North Adelaide Rockets will play on the road against Central District Lions (#9) in Gawler and are hoping to win this game.
