An interesting game for Jets (12-1) which played road game in Tullamarine against 3rd placed Hume City Broncos (7-6). First ranked Jets managed to get a 10-point victory 88-78. Jets outrebounded Hume City Broncos 39-21 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Ishmael Sanders (188, college: C-N) who led the winners and scored 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Trevon Clayton (198, college: FPU) accounted for 16 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American point guard Christopher Elder (180-1989, college: St.Francis, IL) came up with 19 points and 4 steals and forward Corey Fiddes (198, college: CS East Bay) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Hume City Broncos in the defeat. Four Jets and five Hume City Broncos players scored in double figures. Jets maintains first place in League with 12-1 record. Loser Hume City Broncos dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
