Very predictable result when sixth ranked Rip City (5-2) won against bottom-ranked Brisbane Spartans (0-7) in Sippy Downs 93-77 on Saturday. Rip City made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Brisbane Spartans turnovers. Strangely Brisbane Spartans outrebounded Rip City 40-28 including 34 on the defensive glass. Guard Verle Williams Jr (180-1997) nailed 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and guard Isaih Tueta (187-1991) accounted for 23 points and 5 assists.
