Very expected game in Cranbourne where 16th ranked Cavaliers (3-8) were defeated by sixth ranked Sabres (7-5) 94-89 on Saturday. Sabres made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. New Zealand guard Shea Ili (184-1992) scored 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Tohiraukura Smith-milner chipped in 26 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Guard William Hickey (194-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and center Jock Perry (216-1997, college: UC Riverside) scored 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sabres moved-up to fifth place in League.
