Everything went according to plan in East Burwood where fifth ranked Waverley Falcons (7-3) outleveled 12th ranked Spectres (5-6) 92-66 on Saturday. Waverley Falcons looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international point guard Daniel Dillon (193-1986, college: Arizona) scored 16 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Tristan Forsyth (208, college: CBU) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Waverley Falcons' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized American guard CJ Asuncion-Byrd (194-1996, college: LeMoyne) responded with 16 points and 6 assists and naturalized Lithuanian forward Remo Simankevicius (198-1996, college: SNHU) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Waverley Falcons moved-up to second place in League. Loser Spectres keep the twelfth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
