Very expected game in Melbourne where 6th ranked Vikings (4-9) were rolled over by second ranked Devils (11-2) 103-67 on Saturday. Devils made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Vikings turnovers. American forward Kavione Green (195, college: Bloomfield) scored 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and guard Keenan Gorski (193, college: Queens, NY) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward DMonte Evans (190, college: Bluefield) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Edward Bourke scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Five Devils and four Vikings players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Devils maintains second position in League with 11-2 record having just three point less than leader Mackay M. Loser Vikings keep the sixth place with nine games lost. Devils will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Vikings will play against Steelers (#7) in Western Port and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
