The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Queens on the court of Kahu on Monday night. Visitors were rolled over by Kahu 80-61. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The former international guard Micaela Cocks (175-1986, college: Oregon) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Australian guard Tahlia Tupaea (175-1997) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists during the contest. Swedish forward Elin Gustavsson (190-1993, college: Colorado St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kahu are looking forward to face Hoiho in the next round. Queens will play against Pouakai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
