An interesting game for Thunder (17-0) which hosted in Loganholme 4th ranked Wizards (11-6). Top-ranked Thunder had an easy win 105-77. Thunder made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Thunder outrebounded Wizards 44-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Wizards' players. The winners were led by forward Mikaela Ruef (191-1990, college: Stanford) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 31 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and New Zealand swingman Chevannah Paalvast (181-1991, college: Monmouth) supported her with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Thunder players scored in double figures. Even 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by the former international point guard Tiana Mangakahia (168-1995, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Wizards. Forward Isabelle Parker (188, college: UCSD) added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Wizards' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Thunder maintains first position in League with 17-0 record. Loser Wizards keep the fourth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
