There was a minor upset in Northbridge where their close opponent Hawks (11-10) were edged by ninth ranked Redbacks (10-9) 76-73 on Friday. Swingman Tevin Jackson (202-1994, college: McNeese St.) stepped up and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forward Isaac Gattorna-Hargrave (201-1999) chipped in 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Andrew Ferguson (213-1998, college: CS Monterey) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and guard Matthew Leary (190-2000, college: Knox) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Redbacks maintains ninth place in League with 10-9 record. Loser Hawks dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
