No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Ipswich Force (10-7) crushed 13th ranked South West Metro Pirates (4-12) in Booval 108-65 on Sunday. Ipswich Force outrebounded South West Metro Pirates 43-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by South West Metro Pirates' players. American-DR Congolese forward Henry Pwono (198-1991, college: ECU) notched 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and South Sudanese forward Majok Deng (205-1993, college: ULM) supported him with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Ipswich Force players scored in double figures. Even 19 points by guard Brendan Teys (188-1990) did not help to save the game for South West Metro Pirates. American guard Taylor Young (190-1990, college: WPU) added 10 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ipswich Force moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser South West Metro Pirates dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Ipswich Force will meet at home league's second-placed Rollers in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. South West Metro Pirates will play against Thunder (#7) in Loganholme and hope to secure a win.
