Adelaide 36ers (1-1) recorded a loss in Findon. Hosts were rolled over by JackJumpers (3-3) 97-72. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Josh Magette (185-1989, college: UAH) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Rashard Kelly (203-1995, college: Wichita St.) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five JackJumpers players scored in double figures. Guard Craig Randall II (193-1996, college: UT Martin) came up with 18 points and forward Robert Franks (201-1996, college: WSU) added 14 points respectively for Adelaide 36ers in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JackJumpers will play against Perth Wildcats at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Adelaide 36ers will play against Kings (#1) in Sydney to get more than just one victory in their record.
