Australia opened the campaign with the win over Guam at the 2012 Pacific Youth Championships. The home side rolled over the visitors 84:46 at the Churchill Leisure Centre, Latrobe City.
Australia started the game with 19-9 lead and never looked behind after. They posted 20-11 surge in the second frame and led 39:20 at the halftime. Moreover the home side won the third and the last quarters of the game for the final success. They needed 26-16 in the third period and ended up with 19-16 in the last quarter.
William Mcdowell-White top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Kyle Clark posted 17. Dejan Vasiljevic delivered 13, whilst Abiola Akintola notched 9. Joshua Sebastian finished the game with 15 points in the losing case and Maksever Kepwe had 9. Reed Meyer tossed in 6, while Valiant Borja had 5.

The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team came out on top during their championship match against the KFC Bombers Sunday, Dec. 10. The Tritons ended the game five points ahead of the Bombers, 101 - 96, to take the Triton Men's Basketball League Championship that took place at the University of Guam Field House. Triton Men's Basketball League final four set - 6 days ago
It's a big weekend of basketball at the UOG Calvo Field House. The top four men's basketball teams in the Triton Men's Basketball League face off Saturday Dec. 9 following the completion of the first round of playoffs Thursday night. The championship game is 2 p.m. Sunday. And there's the IIAAG Girls High School championship Saturday night too. UOG trumps KFC in basketball league match - 24 days ago
The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team won their 14th straight game of the fall season and ran their record to 6-0 in the Triton Men's Basketball League on Friday night. They defeated the KFC Bombers 92-82 at the UOG Field House. It was a close game for most of the first half, Bombers led 26-25 at the end of the first quarter.
