South Korea celebrated the second win at the East Asian Games. They topped Guam for 2-1 record in the second place in Group A. Seven Korean players scored in double digits. Lee Jung-Hyun (191-F-87) provided 20 points to pace the winners.
South Korea dropped 22 points in the opening quarter and opened an 11-point lead. The Korean side unleashed 30 points in the second frame building a comfortable 31-point halftime advantage. Guam collapsed defensively in the third term. They allowed South Korea to fire 38 points and trailed by as many as 54 points at the final break. South Korea dropped 32 points in the final term and sealed the winning outcome. Kim Jong-Kyu (207-C-91) scored 18 points, while Choi Jun-Yong (200-SG-94) and Park Jae-Hyun (187-G-91) delivered 15 points apiece in the victory. Cruz answered with 13 points for Guam. William Stinnett (186-G-86, college: Wenatchee Valley CC) had 12 points and 9 caroms in the defeat.

Tritons improve to 2-0 in men's hoops league - 21 days ago
The University of Guam beat Guam Community College 103-80 Tuesday in the Guam Men's College Basketball League. The Tritons went into halftime with a 50-43 lead and took full control in the second half. Demadjeo Simon scored 26 points with 11 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Tritons while Anthony Brown scored 23 points with 12 rebounds and Ryan Nangaula added 21 points, according to a UOG news release.
