Australia escape with the narrow win over Guam at the second Day of the Pacific Championship 2013. The favorites grabbed 78:76 win for 2-0 record. Guam meanwhile fell at 1-1 record.
Both teams scored 17 points each in the first period. Australia managed to win the second frame 16-13 but Guam responded with a 25-24 run in the third quarter. Both teams scored 21 points at the last stanza as Australia escape with the narrow win over Guam.
Woodfall paced all the winners with 18 points and Rhys Vague netted 15. Michael Healy and Gerasimos Mckay poured in 8 each. Jesus Cruz answered with high 31 points while Mekeli Wesley (206-F-79, agency: Stanley International, college: BYU) delivered 12. Stinnett produced 11, whilst Joseph Blas (183-G/F) had 7.

The Tritons ended the game five points ahead of the Bombers, 101 - 96, to take the Triton Men's Basketball League Championship that took place at the University of Guam Field House. It's a big weekend of basketball at the UOG Calvo Field House. The top four men's basketball teams in the Triton Men's Basketball League face off Saturday Dec. 9 following the completion of the first round of playoffs Thursday night. The championship game is 2 p.m. Sunday. And there's the IIAAG Girls High School championship Saturday night too. UOG trumps KFC in basketball league match - 22 days ago
The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team won their 14th straight game of the fall season and ran their record to 6-0 in the Triton Men's Basketball League on Friday night. They defeated the KFC Bombers 92-82 at the UOG Field House. It was a close game for most of the first half, Bombers led 26-25 at the end of the first quarter.
