Marshall Islands withdrew from the South Pacific Games - Jun 25, 2007

The Marshall Islands Basketball Federation registered its Men national team to play in the upcoming South Pacific Games which will be held in late August in Samoa, unfortunatly the country will be unable to send the Men team in Samoa due to financial reasons. Two other eary entrants had to withdraw like the Marshall Islands: Micronesia and Northern Marianas Islands. Finally, 10 teams will compete in the Men tournament.

Marshall Islands Basketball Federation (MIBF) and School Enrichment Program from the Public School System team up with Majuro Atoll Local Government to run a Middle Schools Christmas Friendly Games for boys. Lae wins 14th BOMI Ralik Ratak Shootout Tournament - 3 Years ago
The championship of the 14th BOMI Ralik Ratak Shootout Basketball Tournament saw the two best teams in the Marshall Islands go head-to-head in what can only be described as a brilliant example of Marshall Islands prime time basketball. Lae controlled the final minutes to defeat Majuro 89-83 before over 2,000 screaming fans.
