The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) decided only to send a Men squad in Palau. But without some of its best players like Gabriel Lait, RMI will have a lot of troubles to be competitive.

Marshall Islands NT:
Ulualofaiga Tagoililagi
Osmond Samuel
Bolear Bokna
Nicholas Andrike
Mark Stege
Wayne Anjain
Roney Langrus
Jotai Jotai
Nelson Langkio
Joshua Lanki

The Marshall Islands hasn't played in a major FIBA Oceania tournament since the 1999 Games in Guam. The RMI is coming to Palau with only 10 players and without four of its best players: Jonathan Nathan, Damien Capelle, Robert Pinho and Gabriel Lait. Center Mark Stege and forward Wayne Anjain will have a lot of work to do to lead their side into this tournament. It would be very hard for them to compete for the medals and should be kicked out of the games at the quarterfinals stage.

Prevision: 5th-8th place
