Last year, the Marhsall Islands finished at the 8th and last spot in the South Pacific Mini-Games, this year in Northern Marianas, they will be looking for a medal in the Micronesia Games basketball tournament. Only four players are back from last year's squad: Bokna, Anjain, Stege and Jotai. The team will miss Ulualofaiga Tagoililagi but the addition of Robert Pinho and Gabriel Lait will be a major boost for the national team.

Marshall Islands Basketball Federation (MIBF) and School Enrichment Program from the Public School System team up with Majuro Atoll Local Government to run a Middle Schools Christmas Friendly Games for boys. Lae wins 14th BOMI Ralik Ratak Shootout Tournament - 3 Years ago
The championship of the 14th BOMI Ralik Ratak Shootout Basketball Tournament saw the two best teams in the Marshall Islands go head-to-head in what can only be described as a brilliant example of Marshall Islands prime time basketball. Lae controlled the final minutes to defeat Majuro 89-83 before over 2,000 screaming fans.
