JS Vallee-du-Tir is the master of the New Caledonia basketball, the team led by Fabrice Chaliot swept Mont-Dore in the two-games Finals serie. The team will now focus on the Territorial Championship and on the Pacific Champions Cup.

Game 1:
Vallee-du-Tir - Mont-Dore: 74-46
Eric Saminadin was hoping to have a motivated full-squad to play this Finals serie, his players proved him their value and the coach should be happy now.
Still playing without Felix and Jean-Claude Kilikili, the young Mont-Dore players were able to stay in the game only during the first quarter, Fabrice Chaliot and his experienced teamates made the break in the second period and never looked back. With a 28-points bonus, the road to a new trophy has just become more easy for JSVDT.

Game 2:
Mont-Dore - Vallee-du-Tir: 65-79
No surprise in this second game but the contest was more a close one. This kind of game was a good preparation for Vallee-du-Tir before playing the Territorial championship and the Pacific Champions Cup.
"There was not a real motivation for this game" said Eric Saminadin "My players didn't play at their best and the first half was pretty tough. We only managed to make the break in the third period".
