Naturalized American Swingman Dion Prewster (195-G/F-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Wellington S., receiving a Usbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (40 points, six rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team IMS Hawks (#7, 0-18) with 48-point margin 120-72. Wellington S. maintains the 2nd position in New Zealand NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wellington S. will need more victories to improve their 13-5 record. In the team's last game Prewster had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He just recently signed at Wellington S., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Dion Prewster averages this season 13.5ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old American McKenzie Moore (198-G-92) of league's leader Canterbury. Moore had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 10 assists. Of course he led Canterbury to another comfortable win 116-98 over the lower-ranked Waitakere SCR (#4, 9-9) being unquestionably team leader. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
