Paul Carter
New Zealand Breakers (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American forward Paul Carter (205-91kg-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Inception Sports). He already started the season at ALBA Berlin in German BBL league. In 8 games he recorded just 2.5ppg and 1.6rpg this season. Carter also played 4 games in Eurocup where he averaged 4.5ppg and 1.3rpg. The last season he played at Olympique Antibes in French ProA. In 33 games he had 10.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg.
Carter has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
His team made it to the Cyprus final in 2012.
Carter is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in six different countries. Carter has played previously professionally in Finland (Lapuan Korikobrat), Israel (Maccabi Rishon and Ironi Ashkelon), Mexico (Fuerza Guinda Nogales), Cyprus (Proteas Danoi AEL Limassol), D-League (Salt Lake City Stars, Santa Cruz Warriors and Springfield A.) and Dominican Republic (San Carlos).
He attended University of Illinois-Chicago until 2011 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
