Tai Wesley
Defending champion Wellington Saints (NBL) added to their roster 31-year old American (has also Fijian passport) forward Tai Wesley (201-104kg-86, college: Utah State). It is actually his comeback to Saints as he has played here before. Wesley He just played at United in Australian NBL league. In 28 games he recorded 8.8ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.3apg this season. The last summer Wesley played at Saints where in 16 NBL games he averaged 15.0ppg, 6.4rpg, 3.0apg, 1.9spg (in top 5) and 1.5bpg. He helped them to win the league title (twice) despite they ended the regular season at the second place (twice). A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention and All-Domestic Players Team.
Wesley was voted All-WAC Player of the Year back in 2011 at his college time.
Wesley represented Fiji at the Pacific Games in Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) two years ago.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Wesley's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in four different countries. Wesley has played previously professionally also in France (SPO Rouen), Holland and New Zealand (Sharks) and Australia (New Zealand Breakers).
He attended Utah State until 2011 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
