Grant
Fiorentinos
Taylor Hawks (NBL) added to their roster 25-year old British-Greek power forward Grant Fiorentinos (208-102kg-92). He just graduated from SIU Edwardsville (NCAA). Fiorentinos has played there for the last four years. In 25 games he had 7.0ppg and 3.4rpg last season. Fiorentinos also played 1 game where he recorded 5 points, 2 rebounds and 1 block.
He represented United Kingdom at the European Championships U20 Division B in Sofia (Bulgaria) five years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 4.3ppg, 2.8rpg.
As mentioned above Fiorentinos is just out of college, so it will be his first season as a professional player.
On Fiorentinos: The great English hope comes from Greece; Has size, he's agile inside, goes well to rebound; his long arms allows him to be a good shot-blocker; needs to improve his defensive skills and his shooting, above all the free throwing.
