GS Lavrio (A1) landed 25-year old American guard McKenzie Moore (198-86kg-92, college: UTEP, agency: Two Points). He played in the summer at Canterbury in New Zealand NBL league. In 6 games he averaged impressive 17.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 7.3apg and 1.8spg. The last season Moore played at Promitheas where in 26 A1 games he had 11.0ppg, 5.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.4spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Among other achievements Moore's team won New Zealand NBL Regular Season in 2016. He received also Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Player of the Year award in 2016.
Moore has played previously professionally also in Belgium (Leuven Bears).
He attended Univ.of Texas at El Paso until 2014 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
