Papua New Guinea - New Caledonia 81-61 Papua New Guinea crowned Melanesia Cup champions as they defeated New Caledonia 81-61 in the Final game. Leahy Martineng-Lakah continued his solid play with 17 crucial points in the biggest game of the event. Earlier at the event Papua New Guinea beat Solomon Islands 79-37 and then New Caledonia 87-80. Twilight basketball returns after successful first phase - 1 Year ago
AFTER the successful introduction of the Twilight Basketball programme last year, the Basketball Federation of Papua New Guinea will launch its second phase tomorrow at the Taurama Aquatic and Indoor Centre.
