Enosa made historical first steps in australian NBL- October 20, 2003American Samoa center Iona Enosa (208-C-70, college: BYU-Hawaii) made history during the last weekend with becoming the first Am Samoa native to play in the Australia NBL ever! He has been hired by the NZ Breakers to replace injuried Ben Melmeth (208-F/C-75, college: Utah). Enosa started his NBL career with a loss 97-108 against the Melbourne Tigers. He came from the bench to play 29 minutes and recored 7pts 2/4 FG 3/4 FT 6rbs 1bs. He scored 6 of his 7 points in the first half before Melbourne's powerful team took the game in hand. We'd follow Enosa's games in the NBL as long as he's in the Breakers' roster.
