Army #1 on a 3 game winning streak

Army #1 was able to defeat the first two teams this season without any problems, however, coming into Monday nights game, the Breakers proved to be a formidable opponent. The Breakers dominated the first three quarters before Army #1 went to the perimeter game and outside shooting to take the lead with Lavata'i & Talaeai's 3-pointers to tie the game at 55-55. With 35 seconds remaining Army center, Chico, was able to knock down the go ahead jumper and Army regains the lead by 2. With 4 seconds left, the Breakers called a timeout for a last minute effort. Army #1 went to a tight man-to-man coverage covering the entire floor. The ball was inbounded to Rodenno Tarray who drove to the hoop and threw a floater which rattled around the rim and rolled out, Army #1 rebounded and the clock wound down for the win and the final score of 57-55 and Army #1 retains the ASBA Shield.
