EXCLUSIVE Intereview with Sa Tanuvasa of BYU Hawaii- April 12, 2005Name Sa Tanuvasa Height 6’4 Position Guard/Forward DOB 1982 What are your strengths and weaknesses in your game? My strengths are driving to the basket and shooting jumpers I am very versatile. Weaknesses, not enough experience on the collage level. How would you describe your performances this season as a player? I had a very defensive role in the team this year not too much offensive things I could do. But I think I did very well this year and hope to improve next year. Was this season above or below expectations from what you had originally thought off before the season started? Below for me, I thought I would see more playing time this season because of the training that I put in last season. Are you happy with the way the team performed this year? Kind of disappointed we should have gone a lot further than what we ended up as. We had all the pieces but none of them could put it together. How would you describe the coaching staff and describe the impact of they have had on your style of basketball? My style is very structured now as a player, I don’t have to do a lot things because we people who specialize in certain aspects of the game that help our team. What are your expectations next season? Next season will be a rebuilding year I believe for us we have lost seven of our twelve players so it might be filled with ups and downs. As you approach your junior year, do you believe that you will be able to handle the pressure? Yes I do I love pressure that is I am at my best. Not just in sports but in all things. From what I am aware of, you have Pacific Island heritage. Is that correct? Yes, I am Samoan. F |
