Tofi impressing in UTEP's tour of the Canary Islands

John Tofi

John Tofi (203-F/C-84) is expected to produce big numbers this year for the University of Texas El Paso as their preseason trip to the Canary Islands is of any indication.  With new incoming players at the centre position, Tofi is expected to switch to his natural position power for wards after Tremaine Fuqua tranfered from Oklahoma State.  In the three games in the Canary Islands in which UTEP was undefeated, Tofi averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds per games with a 57% field goal percentage.  John Tofi (203-F/C-84) will play in a different conference this year as UTEP has switched from WAC to Conference USA this year.
