Ken Richardson, 29-year old American forward from the West Adelaide Bearcats, was honored as the Player of the Year at the National Basketball League. He graduated from the Ohio Dominican years ago. Richardson received multiple other awards, earned the Forward of the Year and was voted to the First Team. Larry Sengstock, 19-year old power forward from the champion team Southern Melbourne Saints, picked up the Finals MVP of National Basketball League. He was also selected to the First Team. Cal Bruton, 25-year old Australian point guard from the Brisbane Bullets, was named the Guard of the Year at the National Basketball League. He Is the Wichita State alumni from 1976. Bruton was also chosen to the First Team. Cal Stamp, American swingman from the runner-up team finalist team the Canberra Cannons, was named to the First Team of National Basketball League. He Is ex Wake Forest from 1975. Kevin Boyd, forward from the Nunawading Spectres, earned a spot in the First Team at the National Basketball League.
