Kalamunda Eastern Suns (SBL) added to their roster 24-year old American forward Ali Schwagmeyer (180-90, college: Quincy, agency: Gamble Sports Management). She just played at GiroLive Panthers Osnabruck in German DBBL. In 11 games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.2ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.2apg and 2.0spg this season. The last season Schwagmeyer played also at Osnabruck (DBBL) in Germany. In 30 games she averaged 14.0ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.3spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Schwagmeyer graduated from Quincy University in 2012 and it is her second season as a professional player.

NIA COFFEY American Nia Coffey (185-F-95, agency: LBM Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Adelaide and that's her to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 1. The 23-year old forward had a double-double of 19 points and fifteen rebounds, while her team beat Perth (#6, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 78-66. The Regular Season in WNBL just started. Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Perth Lynx (0-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Adelaide Lightning (1-0) 78-66. Adelaide Lightning made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Adelaide Lightning outrebounded Perth Lynx 41-27 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. N'DEA BRYANT GS Iraklis Thessaloniki (A1) agreed terms with 23-year old American swingman N'Dea Bryant (183-94, college: N.Carolina). She played last summer at Cairns Dolphins in Australian QBL. In 13 games she had very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.0apg and 1.6spg.
