Basketball South Australia and the Premier League today announced that James Legan (190-G-87, college: E.Carolina, agency: Court Side) was named Player of the Round for Round 17, following his performance in the West Adelaide Bearcats' 112-83 win over the South Adelaide Panthers.
In 29 minutes, Legan recorded 35 points with nine 3-pointers and eight rebounds, thus earning his first Player of the Round award of the year.
After missing the first game of the season, Legan has played in every game since and has helped the Bearcats sit second on the ladder after seventeen rounds with a 14-3 record.
In 16 games, Legan is averaging 20.3 points (eighth-highest in the league), 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
The Bearcats' regular-season finale occurs this weekend, as they take on the first-placed Southern Tigers (15-2) and look to secure the minor premiership.

He started the season at 36ers in Australian NBL league. In 19 games he recorded 9.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.3apg this season. The last summer Moore played at Talladega Knights in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament. He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013. Among other achievements Moore played in the final of Australian NBL in 2018. He received also Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Sixth Player of the Year award in 2018. Moore is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in eight different countries. Moore has played previously professionally in Hungary (Alba), Israel, Italy, Lithuania (Lietkabelis and Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys), Ukraine (Khimik), D-League (Springfield A.) and The Basketball Tournament (Rebel Riders). He attended Temple University until 2012 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.

Conger managed to play in three leagues in two countries this year. In 19 NBL games he had 11.8ppg, 4.9rpg and 2.2apg. He also played for Le Mans (ProA) in French league where in 9 NBL games he recorded 10.9ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.7apg. Conger also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 8.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0apg. He also spent pre-season at Gravelines Dunkerque (ProA) in French league. Conger's team won Belgian Supercup in 2017. He is quite experienced player. Conger has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Greece (Aiolos Trikallon), Italy (Lucca and Omegna), Spain (Joventut), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Belgium (Antwerp Giants) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
