James Legan
Basketball South Australia and the Premier League today announced that James Legan (190-G-87, college: E.Carolina, agency: Court Side) was named Player of the Round for Round 17, following his performance in the West Adelaide Bearcats' 112-83 win over the South Adelaide Panthers.

In 29 minutes, Legan recorded 35 points with nine 3-pointers and eight rebounds, thus earning his first Player of the Round award of the year.

After missing the first game of the season, Legan has played in every game since and has helped the Bearcats sit second on the ladder after seventeen rounds with a 14-3 record.

In 16 games, Legan is averaging 20.3 points (eighth-highest in the league), 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

The Bearcats' regular-season finale occurs this weekend, as they take on the first-placed Southern Tigers (15-2) and look to secure the minor premiership.

See here for the league's Facebook post regarding Legan's Player of the Round award.
