TRIANTAFILLOS TZAKOPOULOS

AS Kastoria (A2) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old naturalized Australian guard Triantafillos Tzakopoulos (185-85). He is the second import player in the roster as Lithuanian Dominykas Domarkas signed here earlier.
Holargos B.C.. In 34 A2 games he recorded 7.6ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.4apg and 1.6spg (in top 4) last season. Tzakopoulos helped them to win the A2 Play-Off title.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Tzakopoulos' pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in four different countries. Tzakopoulos has played previously professionally also in Cyprus (Frederick Achilleas Kaimakliou), Germany (Duesseldorf Baskets, Science City Jena, BBC Magdeburg and Titans), Kazakhstan (Astana) and Greece (MENT Vassilakis, Makedonikos, Gymnastikos Olympia Larissas, Egaleo and Ionikos Lamias).
The scouts decsribe him following way: A classic PG, who can run a team offense, hit a shot if left open and defend hard on the perimeter. A silent but tenacious player who does very well wherever he goes, thanks to his great attitude and serious approach to the game.

AS Kastoria roster for 2018-2019:

Guards:
Giannis Papachristos
Triantafillos Tzakopoulos
Thomas Amparas
Dominykas Domarkas
Athanasios Chondrogiannis
Andreas Petropoulos

Forwards:

Alexandros Raptis
Giannis Vavatsikos
Giorgos Tersenidis
Nikos Persidis
Dimitris Daravigas
Dimitris Apidopoulos

Center:
Petros Melissaratos

Coach: Nikos Karagiannis
