Kyle Sovine
KYLE SOVINE

Atletico Echague Parana (La Liga Argentina) inked 24-year old American power forward Kyle Sovine (206-107kg-94, college: St.Francis, IN). He joins another USA player David Shepard which is already in the roster.
Sovine played in the summer at Goldfields Giants in Australian SBL. In 26 games he averaged impressive 23.3ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1bpg. He was also selected League Player of the Week. The last season he played at KB Rahoveci (SuperLeague) in league where in 8 games he had very remarkable stats: 17.6ppg, 11.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3bpg.
Among other achievements Sovine's team made it to the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals in 2015 and 2017. He received also All-Crossroads League 2nd Team award in 2017 at his college time.
Sovine graduated from University of Saint Francis (IN) in 2017 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.
His game is described as: Kyle is a very skilled player that has great footwork and touch around the basket. He has the ability to stretch the floor with a high 3pt shooting percentage. He can post with back to bucket, face up and shoot, and drive and finish and is often double teamed by opposing defenses. Defensively, Kyle has the ability to keep players in front and with his length does a great job of walling up and forcing his opponents into tough contested shots. Good at hedging ballscreens making it difficult for guards to turn the corner. Kyle will rebound out of his area and is a strong offensive and defensive rebounder. Kyle can play up tempo in transition both offensively and defensively.

Atletico Echague Parana roster for 2018-2019:

Guards:
Alexis Knecht
Eugenio Zustovich

Forwards:
Pablo Osores
Kyle Sovine
David Shepard

Center:
Franco Barroso
