JOSH CHILDRESS

San-en NeoPhoenix (B League) landed experienced 35-year old American swingman Josh Childress (203-95kg-83, college: Stanford). It is actually his comeback to San en NeoPhoenix as he has played here before. Childress played most recently at 36ers in Australian NBL league. In 27 games he averaged 12.5ppg, 6.6rpg (#5 in the league), 2.1apg and 1.1spg last season. Childress helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
In 2004 Childress was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in first round (6th overall). He attended Stanford University and it is his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
