SHAWN LONG

25-year old forward Shawn Long (208-F-93, agency: Pensack Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Breakers and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Hawks (#6, 7-9) with 17-point margin 96-79. Breakers maintains the 7th position in Australian league. Breakers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-8 record. In the team's last game Long had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Breakers' top player in his first season with the team. University Louisiana at Lafayette graduate has very impressive stats this year. Long is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 8.6rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nick Kay (206-C/F-92) of league's second-best Wildcats. He is international in his first season at Wildcats. In the last game Kay recorded impressive 22 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Wildcats lost that game 86-93 to slightly lower-ranked Bullets (#4, 8-7). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Wildcats still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 11-6 record is not bad at all. Kay is a newcomer at Wildcats and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.6ppg (#9). He also registered 8.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Cameron Gliddon (197-G/F-89) of Bullets (#4). Gliddon scored 24 points. He was a key player of Bullets, leading his team to a 93-86 win against #2 ranked Wildcats. Bullets needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 7 lost games. Gliddon has a great season in Australia. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.9ppg (8th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Daniel Johnson (212-C/F-88) of 36ers - 22 points and 5 rebounds
5. Bryce Cotton (185-G-92) of Wildcats - 29 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Nathan Jawai (209-F/C-86) of Taipans - 18 points and 9 rebounds
7. Jerome Randle (175-PG-87) of Kings - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Andrew Bogut (213-C-84) of Kings - 10 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists
9. David Andersen (213-C-80) of Hawks - 21 points and 3 rebounds
10. David Barlow (205-F-83) of United - 12 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
