JOSH BOONE

34-year old forward Josh Boone (208-F-84) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked United and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Taipans (#8, 3-16) 99-89. United is placed at 2nd position in Australian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. United will need more victories to improve their 12-7 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Boone as usually he does not deliver so high stats. University of Connecticut graduate has very impressive stats this year. Boone is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 1.6bpg and 55.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Demitrius Conger (196-F-90) of 36ers. He is American forward in his first season at 36ers. In the last game Conger recorded impressive 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for 36ers to edge slightly lower-ranked Hawks (#6, 9-11) by 6 points 102-96. 36ers' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 10-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Conger is a newcomer at 36ers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Melo Trimble (190-G-95) of Taipans (#8). Trimble got into 30-points club by scoring 42 points in the last round. Despite Trimble's great performance Taipans lost 89-99 to the higher-ranked United (#2, 12-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Taipans can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 3-16 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Trimble he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Trimble has individually a great season in Australia. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (2nd best) and assists with 4.3apg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Casper Ware (178-PG-90) of United - 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Ramone Moore (193-G-89) of 36ers - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Lamar Patterson (196-G/F-91) of Bullets - 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists
7. Brian Conklin (201-F-89) of Hawks - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
8. David Barlow (205-F-83) of United - 24 points and 5 rebounds
9. Emmett Naar (185-G-94) of Hawks - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Nathan Sobey (190-G-90) of 36ers - 23 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
