Harris' 40-point game gives him State League Interperformances Player of the Week award - Mar 13, 2019

Tobias
Dowdell
Michael Harris put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Forestville E. and receives a Interperformances State League Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 40 points adding five rebounds and three assists for Forestville E. in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Woodville W. (#10, 0-2) with 25-point margin 123-98. Forestville E. is placed at 2nd position in their group in Australian State League. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Forestville E. won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Harris had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 14 attempts. It's his second year at Forestville E. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Harris has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 24.5ppg) and averages solid 69.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tobias Dowdell (201-F-90) of N.Adelaide R.. He is American forward in his first season at N.Adelaide R.. In the last game Dowdell recorded impressive 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led N.Adelaide R. to another comfortable win 93-78 over Sturt S. (0-3) being unquestionably team leader. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Dowdell is one of the most experienced players at N.Adelaide R. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.0ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 8.0rpg and 6.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Luke Stanbridge (192-F-90) of Woodville W. (#10). Stanbridge scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Stanbridge's great performance Woodville W. lost 98-123 to Forestville E. (#2, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Woodville W. can only dream about fighting for top spots in Premier League. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Too bad for Stanbridge he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Stanbridge has a very solid season. In 2 games in Australia he scored 21.0ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jack Lopez (196-F-94) of Bankstown B. - 29 points and 7 rebounds
5. Lochlan Hutchison) of Sutherland S. - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists
6. Brandon Morris (203-F-94) of Eastern M. - 29 points and 15 rebounds
7. Alexander Starling (198-F-89) of N.Adelaide R. - 22 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Sean Weekes (194-F) of Penrith P. - 24 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Daniel Joyce (194-G-87) of Canberra G. - 24 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Shane Hayward) of W.Adelaide B. - 17 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over.
