Australian State League round 6 best performance: Ken-Jah Bosley (by Interperformances) - Apr 12, 2019

KEN-JAH BOSLEY

American Guard Ken-Jah Bosley (185-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for Albury W.B., receiving a Interperformances State League Player of the Week award for round 6.
The player was the main contributor (37 points, seven rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Ringwood H. (#13, 1-1) 105-100. Albury W.B. is placed at 3rd position in their group in Australian State League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Albury W.B. won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Bosley had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Albury W.B. and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Ken-Jah Bosley averages just after two games 31.0ppg and 7.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old Brandon Brine (198-F-91) of league's leader Norwood F.. Brine had a very good evening with a double-double of 36 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Norwood F. lost that game 97-106 to the lower-ranked Woodville W. (#9, 2-4). Norwood F. managed to keep the same 1st spot in Premier League. It was just his team's 1st loss this season, while they won 6 other games. Brine is one of the most experienced players at Norwood F. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American swingman Joshua Braun (193-G/F-94) of Kalamunda E.S. (#7). Braun got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds and eight assists. He was a key player of Kalamunda E.S., leading his team to a 108-88 easy win against SW Slammers (#14, 0-5). Kalamunda E.S. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in SBL. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Braun has a great season in Australia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.7ppg (2nd best). He also has 1.3bpg, FGP: 55.8% and 3PT: 40.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Konor Kulas (201-F-94) of Werribee D. - 29 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists
5. C.J. Turnage (201-F/G-95) of Southern T. - 29 points and 18 rebounds
6. Simon Conn (206-F/C-83) of Nunawading S. - 22 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Matthew Brasser) of Chelsea G. - 46 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Jay Bowie (196-G/F-92) of Goldfields G. - 36 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Deonte Burton (183-PG-91) of Bendigo B. - 30 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Tobias Dowdell (201-F-90) of N.Adelaide R. - 29 points and 17 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over. With more than forty-eight years of experience, INTERPERFORMANCES is well known to all professional teams and clubs. General Managers trust and rely on our opinions and recommendations.
