   #1. This week's number one is former international forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: WSU, currently plays in Turkey). He led Anadolu Efes to a victory over the closely-ranked Galatasaray (18-10) 78-72 in a derby game in the Turkish BSL in Wednesday night's game. Motum was MVP of the game. He scored 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 39 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (25-3) is placed first in the BSL. It was his team's 17th consecutive victory in a row. Motum has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 60.4%(81-134), 3FGP: 42.6% and FT: 76.3% in 14 games he played so far. Motum played for the Australian senior national team three years ago.

Mangok Mathiang

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Mangok Mathiang (208-92, college: Louisville, currently plays in Italy). He could not help Vanoli Cremona (20-10) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Mathiang's very good performance Vanoli Cremona was edged 78-75 on the road by the lower-ranked Umana Venezia (#3). He was the top scorer with 22 points. Mathiang also added 7 rebounds. It's Mathiang's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 11.3ppg, 10.2rpg, 2FGP: 62.3%(185-297) and FT: 51.5%. Mathiang has a dual citizenship: Australian and South Sudanese. He is in the roster of the Australian senior national team.

Todd Blanchfield

   #3. The Australian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international swingman Todd Blanchfield (200-91, currently plays in New Zealand). Blanchfield was the main contributor in Sharks' victory against the league outsider Rangers (2-11) crushing them 115-83 in the New Zealand NBL on Saturday night. He was the best player in that game. Blanchfield scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. SIT Zero Fees Southland Sharks (7-5) are placed fourth in the NBL. Blanchfield has very impressive stats this year: 15.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.9apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 54.9%, 3FGP: 32.2% and FT: 86.7% in 12 games. He is also a member of the Australian senior national team.

Cameron Gliddon

   #4. Swingman Cameron Gliddon (197-89, college: Concordia Irvine, currently plays in New Zealand) contributed to Rams' victory against the seventh-ranked Jets (2-9) 88-83 in the New Zealand NBL in Sunday night's game. Gliddon was the top player that evening. He scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Canterbury Rams (9-2) are placed third in the NBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Gliddon has relatively solid stats: 14.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.1apg and 1.6spg. He is also Australian national team player.

   #5. Former international forward Rhys Vague (206-96, currently plays in New Zealand) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Rangers (2-11) crushing them 102-81 in the New Zealand NBL last Friday. Vague was the top player that evening. He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 11 rebounds. Vague also added 3 assists in 31 minutes. Mike Pero Nelson Giants (4-8) are placed sixth in the NBL. They ended the series of seven consecutive loses. Vague has very impressive stats this year: 17.7ppg, 7.7rpg and 2.8apg in 12 games. He used to play for the Australian national team six years ago.

   #6. Guard Emmett Naar (185-94, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in New Zealand) is a teammate of previously mentioned Cameron Gliddon. But that was another game of his team in New Zealand NBL which we would like to mention. Naar contributed to Rams' victory against the closely-ranked Huskies (6-6) 81-70. He scored 16 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 6 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Naar's third season in pro basketball. Canterbury Rams (9-2) are placed third in the NBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Naar has reliable stats this season: 11.6ppg, 4.2rpg and 3.9apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Australian National Team roster.

   #7. International guard Jarrad Weeks (185-89, currently plays in New Zealand) is a teammate of previously mentioned Todd Blanchfield and both played together in the last New Zealand NBL game. Weeks was the major contributor in Sharks' victory against the league outsider Rangers (2-11) crushing them 115-83. He scored 24 points and added 3 assists in 21 minutes. Weeks has very impressive stats this year: 20.1ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg in 12 games. He is also Australian national team player.

   #8. An experienced center Andrew Bogut (213-84, college: Utah, currently plays in NBA) was not able to help the Golden State Warriors in their game against the Toronto Raptors (58-24) in the NBA. Bogut scored 6 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. The Golden State Warriors (57-25) were defeated 123-109 in Toronto by the Raptors. It was Golden State Warriors' first loss after six consecutive victories. Bogut's overall stats this season are: 3.3ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.1apg. He used to play for the Australian national team back in 2016.

   #9. International power forward Nick Kay (206-92, college: MSU Denver, currently plays in New Zealand) contributed to Saints' victory against one of league's weakest teams Mountain Airs (2-10) 83-74 in the New Zealand NBL on Thursday night. Kay had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added and 3 steals in 34 minutes. Wellington Saints (11-0) are placed first in the NBL. So far his team won all eleven games in the Regular Season. Kay has very impressive stats this year: 16.2ppg, 9.3rpg, 3.0apg and 2.0spg in 11 games. He is also in the roster of the Australian national team.

   #10. Swingman Daniel Grida (195-98, currently plays in New Zealand) is a teammate of previously mentioned Rhys Vague and both played together in the last New Zealand NBL game. Grida contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Rangers (2-11) crushing them 102-81. He scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season Grida has very high stats. He averages: 15.5ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.4apg. Grida is an international player who is currently on the senior Australian National Team roster.

   #1. Venkatesha Jois (203-F-93, college: EWU, currently plays in New Zealand) could not help Rangers (2-11) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Jois' very good performance the bottom-ranked Rangers were defeated 108-104 at home by the higher-ranked Huskies (#5). He scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Jois has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 19.3ppg, 11.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg.

   #2. Anthony Semerad (196-SF-91, currently plays in Philippines) led TNT Ka Tropa to a victory against one of league's weakest teams SM Beermen (0-2) 110-97 in the Filipino PBA last Saturday. Semerad scored 11 points in 25 minutes. Talk N Text Ka Tropa (4-1) is placed third in the PBA. This year Semerad's overall stats are: 7.2ppg and 3.0rpg in five games he played so far.

   #3. Jonathan Janssen (206-F-95, college: Hawaii Pacific, currently plays in New Zealand) contributed to Rams' victory against the closely-ranked Huskies (6-6) 81-70 in the New Zealand NBL on Thursday night. He scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Canterbury Rams (9-2) are placed third in the NBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Janssen's overall stats this season are: 5.1ppg and 3.1rpg.

   #4. Tony Tolovae (196-G-92, currently plays in New Zealand) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jonathan Janssen and both played together in the last New Zealand NBL game. Tolovae contributed to Rams' victory against the closely-ranked Huskies (6-6) 81-70. He scored 10 points in 18 minutes. This year Tolovae's overall stats are: 7.2ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.3apg in 10 games. He has a dual citizenship: Australian and New Zealand.

SHEA ILI Melbourne United (NBL) inked 26-year old New Zealander international guard Shea Ili (184-92). He played in the summer at Saints in New Zealand NBL league. In 13 games he averaged impressive 17.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 5.5apg and 1.8spg. He was also selected League Player of the Week. AARON BROOKS Illawarra Hawks (NBL) signed experienced 34-year old American point guard Aaron Brooks (183-73kg-85, college: Oregon). He played most recently at Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA.
