Valencia BC (Liga Dia) signed 27-year old Australian international guard Rebecca Allen (188-92, agency: LBM Management). The last season Allen played at Arka Gdynia in Polish league where in 13 Euroleague games she had 14.2ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.5spg in 2019-20 season. She also played 17 games in Polish EBLK where she recorded 14.1ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.4apg, 1.1spg and 1.5bpg. Allen helped them to win the cup and end the regular season at the top position.
Allen has been also a member of Australian international program for some years. She has regularly played for Australian senior team since 2014 and previously for U19 National Team between 2009 and 2011.
Allen also represented Australia at the World Championships for Women in Turkey six years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 6 games: 4.3ppg, 1.5rpg.
Allen has played also professionally in France (Lyon), Slovakia (Good Angels) and Australia (Boomers, Southside Flyers, Australian Institute of Sport, Knox Raiders and Redbacks). She was voted Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Bourges (France) 1st Team in 2020.
She could be described: A big-bodied guard with amazing physical tools and great defensive skills. She's very effective in guard both forwards and guards.
