Albury Wodonga Bandits (NBL1 South) signed 23-year old American point guard Bijan Johnson (183-97, college: NM Military). for upcoming 2021 season He will still stay in Australia where he played last season at Adelaide (NBL). NBL was a little too high level for him, where in four games he had just 1.0ppg previous season. NBL1 South will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The previous (18-19) season Johnson played at Adelaide 36ers (also in NBL). NBL was a little too high level for him, where in 5 games he recorded only 0.8ppg.
Johnson has played previously for two other teams: North Adelaide Rockets and Thunder.
His team was regular season runner-up in Australian Premier League in 2019.
He attended New Mexico Military Institute until 2016 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
