Donald Sloan left Adelaide- February 6, 2021
The last season Sloan played at Telekom Baskets in German BBL where in only one game he recorded 14 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists. He also played 2 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 10.5ppg, 1.0rpg and 2.0apg. Sloan has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014. Sloan was a member of USA international program for some years. He was called to USA Senior National Team between 2011 and 2017 and previously for U21 National Team back in 2004. Sloan is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Sloan has played previously professionally in China (Guandong Tigers and Jiangsu Dragons), Philippines, NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards), NBA G League (Sioux Falls S., Texas L., College Park S. and Stockton K.) and The Basketball Tournament (Eberlein Drive). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention back in 2017. He attended Texas A&M University until 2010 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
