Mandurah Magic (NBL1 West) landed 19-year old 200cm swingman Luke Travers. Travers played most recently at Perth Wildcats (NBL). In 40 games he averaged 4.9ppg and 3.2rpg. He helped them to make it to the Australian NBL grand final series after they ended regular season in second.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Perth for the first time, where in four games he had 1.3ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.3apg.
He was a member of Australian U17 National Team in 2018.
Travers has played previously for two other teams: Cougars and Flames.
Despite young age he had impressive career. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Asian U16 Championships 2nd Team back in 2018.
